Birding across southern France...

Two of the most important natural areas in Europe are the focus for our long-popular France: Camargue & Pyrenees itinerary. The vast wetlands of the Camargue attract a great diversity of wading birds and serve as a critical stopover for southbound migrants in the fall. The towering peaks of the Pyrenees offer a dramatic backdrop for our search for specialties from European Griffon to Lammergeier (or Bearded Vulture) and possibly the lovely Wallcreeper. Sprinkle in some ancient ruins, picturesque villages, Provencal cuisine, French wine, and some lovely walks in the Pyrenees, and we have ourselves a winner of an itinerary. Guides Jay VanderGaast and Willy Perez are slated to guide our Sep 4-14, 2019, departure, on which there is space available.

Grab your guide des oiseaux and join us for a fabulous birding-and-landscape tour across southern France.
