Cape May Overview & Highlights

A spring tour to Cape May brings the drama of Horseshoe Crab spawning, drawing flocks of shorebirds including Red Knots, while the woods and fields fill with the songs (and colorful plumage!) of more than 20 warbler species, tanagers, orioles, and buntings.

On a fall tour, north winds bring a southbound rush of migrant birds. Witness thousands of raptors, shorebirds, and warblers funneling through the peninsula, with dazzling morning flights and the possibility of rare fallouts.

At either time of year, enjoy the magic and spectacle of one of North America's premier birding hotspots while based for a week at a single, comfortable lodging.
